A shadow government has been defined as a “ ‘government-in-waiting’ that remains in waiting with the intention of taking control of a government in response to some event.“  With the Obama Shadow Government (which he has staffed and continues to staff with old Soviet-styled “Czars” who are accountable ONLY to him) the “some event” appears to be a series of events that Dictator in Chief Barack Hussein Obama and his followers have created themselves and brought to bear upon the current - traditional - US government.  Have any of you heard dissent from anyone in the Democrat-controlled US Congress?  We certainly won’t hear any from the now almost completely State-run Obama media.

Considering the fast and awful demise and decay into socialism of the late, great United States, sometimes you just freeze up from the overwhelming choices on what to write.  A quick glance at late breaking news on the web is usually enough to get me going but today The Drudge Report had a very odd juxtaposition of pictures which gave me real pause.  The first illustration, which is linked with an article titled, “The Emergence of Obama’s Muslim Roots”, has an unidentified man holding a glitzy, Las Vegas version of an Egyptian cartouche bearing King Tut’s funerary mask with the words, “OBAMA New Tutankhamon of the World”.  The second picture showed NBC TV anchor, Brian Williams, doing a formal court bow to President Obama at the end of an NBC show airing this week.  The corresponding comment on Drudge is, “NBC News Anchor Bows Before President?“ and you can watch Williams sorry, sycophantic grovel on the YouTube link provided.

The Obama Administration has been excellent at keeping a crisis of some kind ongoing in the US while they continue to get their crash socialist programs through the Congress and made into law before the American people figure out what hit us. It’s called “mis-direction.“  Magicians use it all the time.  The reason Magicians and politicians use it - because it works!

Rob Thomas, singer/songwriter and front man for the band Matchbox 20, has successfully proven an old adage: Don’t Keep quiet and let people think you’re a fool. Open your mouth and remove all doubt. He has also shown us all that the American system of education is in pretty sorry shape. But, one thing is sure, Mr. Thomas “feels good” about himself, so he’s got that whole self esteem thing down nicely. Sadly, he lacks some basis for the conceit.

Twenty years ago the light of liberty flickered briefly in China.  In May 1989, Chinese students built a “Goddess of Liberty,” alternatively called a “Goddess of Democracy,” in Tiananmen Square.  Throughout much of China, the subjects of the nation, on the fortieth anniversary of the Communist victory in the Chinese Civil War, expressed their support for liberty as well.  The whole world watched.  Then, on May 30, 1989, twenty years ago, the tanks of the People’s Liberation Army (the ultimate oxymoron) violently crushed the mass gathering and crushed all public dissent.  All this happened while the whole world watched.  There could be no pretense any longer that this was the People’s Republic.  It was, instead, the Oligarchs’ Republic.
