In 2004, an illegal immigrant voted illegally in Tennessee’s Putnam County. He showed false identification and a stolen Soc. Sec. number. But in 2010 the federal government is asking Tennessee officials to help smooth this illegal’s way to citizenship by ignoring past crimes.

Putnam County administrator of elections Debbie Steidl seems pretty annoyed by the whole situation. This illegal immigrant even went to her and signed an affidavit admitting that he voted illegally but he also presented the election official with a letter from the Department of Homeland Security demanding that she purge his name from the 2004 voting records.

You see, unless his name is purged he cannot seek legal citizenship because he has this illegal act on his record.

The frustrated County official said this illegal immigrant, “is being enabled. And that’s what bothered me more than anything!“

Naturally the court is siding with the illegal saying that his illegal act has exceeded the statute of limitations for vote fraud.

But here is the thing: it doesn’t matter if the statute of limitations for vote fraud has been exceeded or not. No one is prosecuting him for vote fraud. The question being considered is if he should be allowed to become a citizen. The answer is no and the solution is immediate deportation of this long-time criminal, not coddling and a free pass to citizenship.

This incident shows a complete breakdown in our electoral system, our courts, and our immigration system as well as the Dept. of Homeland Security… not to mention common sense.

  What’s just as bad is that the the presidential candidate who campaigned on “transparency and open government” has turned out to be the most consistently and compulsively secretive president in living memory.

  As a candidate, Obama said:

“I promise 100 percent transparency in my administration” and “I will allow five days of public comment before I sign any bills,“ and I’ll lput the health care negotiation on C-Span so everyone can see who is at the table.“

  “Incredibility, President Barack Obama violated every one of these pledges that he made to the America people.“

A woman called to say she was “now glad to have a terminal disease because [she] won’t live to see how Obama will destroy this great country.“  The pain and rage and sorrow in her voice came through loud and clear. Full Piece

And it’s not just wishful thinking by conservatives.  In July, A. Peter Bailey, liberal activist and former associate editor of Ebony magazine, wrote an editorial explaining why Obama will not seek re-election.  He argued that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are unpopular, unsustainable, and must be ended, but that no black president could bring the troops home without “shrill invective from propagandists in the press.”  And for that reason, he postulates, Obama will likely step down in 2012, allowing his successor, presumably someone with close military ties, to bring our troops home.

Three interesting theories, but without a crystal ball, it’s all just conjecture.  Besides that, opinion polls can change in an instant, and two years is an eternity in the political arena.

That said however, there are some signs suggesting that Obama might not be up for another presidential campaign.

First, of course, there is his abysmal approval rating.  The Rasmussen Poll indicates that his approval index has gone from +28 on January 21, 2009 to -22 on August 11, 2010.  And according to the Gallup Polls, after 562 days in office, Barack Obama’s approval rating of 45%, was lower than Lyndon Johnson’s, at 69%.  Johnson, of course, continued to slide in the polls, reaching a low of 38%, before announcing he would not seek re-election.  Obama is not there yet, but he’s on the right track.  Only the most committed or foolhardy would launch a campaign leading to almost certain defeat.  Obama has shown himself to be neither. 

And there’s something else he must be considering.  There is the likelihood that the Republicans will re-take control of the House, and possibly the Senate, in November.  If that happens, Obama’s carte blanche will be revoked, and having already accomplished much of what he set out to do with this Democratic Congress, he might very well decide to pack it in. 

Beck is absolutely right about one thing.  Given his apparent indifference to public opinion and his steadfast determination to impose his far-left agenda, Obama seems to know that his window of opportunity is closing.  Like the man in the glass booth at the carnival grasping for dollar bills swirling around him, he seems to be scrambling for whatever he can get his hands on in the last two years of office.

And his sequential vacations, which are becoming his hallmark, do nothing to change that perception.  All of those golf games and extravagant outings may be nothing more than an effort to make the best of a good situation.  Every job has its perks, after all.  But they also provide an escape from the pressures of the job.  As a community organizer in 1988, Obama might have pondered the possibility of one day occupying the Oval Office, but he could never have imagined the awesome responsibilities and crushing demands of that office.  His aversion to press conferences, his life behind teleprompters and Robert Gibbs, his vacation addiction, his amateurish handling of the Gitmo detainees, the abject indecisiveness he demonstrated regarding the troop surge in Afghanistan, all point to a young man who is floundering, who is simply over his head.  He has become the Peter Principle personified.  And despite his unbridled arrogance, he knows it; and he knows that he may not be able to tread water for another four years.

In January, he told Diane Sawyer, “I’d rather be a really good one-term President than a mediocre two-term President.“  The polls show where he stands in his first term.  In his mind, however, he’s been a resounding success.  Without mentioning the cavernous debt he created, he relentlessly flaunts his health care bill, his stimulus package, his bailout of the auto industry, and the rest of those socialistic and unpopular self-proclaimed, “successes” that, incidentally, could never have been achieved without a collusive Congress.  But by defining himself as a “really good one-term President,” he could return to a comfortable private life with dignity, and after the full impact of his agenda begins to take effect, he can blame his successor.

No one can know if Obama will find a way to turn those negative numbers around, or how he will deal with them if he doesn’t.  So while he compares himself to Presidents Lincoln, Roosevelt, and even Reagan, it should not shock anyone if one day next year he joins the ranks of a handful of other Presidents, and echoes those famous words of Lyndon Johnson:  “I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party for another term as your President.”

A reasonable progression of facts in this regard follow: 

1. Islamic terrorism is attributed to ‘fundamentalists’ in the Islamic religion.
2. It is common knowledge that to be a Muslim one must be an adherent to the Islamic religion.
3. To be an adherent one must follow the tenets of the Quran.
4. The Quran is believed to be the “verbal book of divine guidance and direction for mankind”.
5. Hence, that which is contained in the Quran from which the beliefs are derived is fundamental.
6. The Quran clearly provides the tenet that ‘infidels must be converted or eliminated’. (Ref* below)
7. It thus stands to reason that true believers of the Islamic religion are prone not to condemn acts of terrorism because of the provisions of the Quran to which they adhere.

It would then follow that placing the Mosque near ground zero would be to advance this objective. It has nothing to do with freedom of religion. It has all to do with the advancement of a totalitarian ideology that would be antithetical to ours based on ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’.

Either our leaders are truly ignorant of the facts as heretofore stated or there is some ulterior unknown motive to their position on this issue. Ignorance in the leadership of our communities and country is not unknown and can be corrected but known support for those who would do our nation harm is not only unforgivable but borders on treason.

It should be obvious to those government and community leaders having influence relative to this Mosque should stop stating they are expressing religious tolerance. Instead they should honestly state that this edifice will be representative of a totalitarian ideology. Then let’s see how that will fly with the community and country.

But those of us on the right that have paid attention understand that he is not American in outlook and never was. Until now, though, it’s been hard to pin down his final loyalties. Now, with the revelations made due to a recent FOIA request, Zinn’s FBI files reveal the truth that Zinn fought his whole life to hide from the public. Howard Zinn was a card carrying member of the Soviet funded Communist Party USA (CPUSA).

Above I mentioned Zinn’s having become a chief custodian of the Beardian legacy. By that I mean the legacy of historian Charles Beard (1874- 1948) whose famous 1912 book about the American Revolution changed the way American universities taught the era to students. After Beard’s work, out was a focus on the patriotism, the reason, and the high principle of America’s founding fathers and in was the assumption that the founders were simply evil white men that wanted to oppress minorities and keep all the money for themselves while setting themselves up as the ruling class. Yes, the hate for America in our universities started as early as 1912.

In any case, this is the legacy of American historical revisionism that Howard Zinn pushed and that is why he was a favorite of the hoity-toity and university pin-heads everywhere. And the fact that he was not known as a member of the American Communist Party made him all the more salable to a gullible public.

But now, that myth of Zinn’s all American demeanor is shattered forever. At The Other McCain we see detailed the long communist paper trail that belongs to the left’s favorite “American” historian, Howard Zinn. Howard Zinn was a fully participating member of the Kremlin-backed American Communist Party despite all the protestations to the opposite the left has for decades fostered.

And McCain makes a really salient point about Zinn’s history with the Communist Party. Zinn was an active member long after it became known that the Soviets started their murderous reign of terror.

You see, even I as an ardent anti-Communist, can understand why so many western leftists thought that the early communist movement(s) was a great idea. Early in the history of socialism/communism it all seemed so high-minded, such a bold experiment. This was before Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot began to murder millions. So, I can excuse someone that thought communism or socialism might be a good idea in the late 1800s when it was born. Or even right up until early 30s when it just might still have worked to better humanity. It was a dreamy dream worth dreaming at some level.

But Zinn became active long after Stalin began to murder millions and create gulags. And he continued to participate after China’s Mao murdered millions. For Howard Zinn, cloaking himself in an early, if ultimately foolish, optimism about the efficacy of socialism/communism is untenable.

Howard Zinn, the left’s favorite historian, was a commie in full support of the idea while millions were dying at the hands of his minders. This alone is enough to justify removing all his books from university coursework unless as an example of the wrong mode of thinking about the United States of America.

The University insisted that she promote abortion, evolution and gay marriage which clearly would fly in the face of her Christian beliefs. They were especially adamant about the homosexual issues, and demanded that she enter a “Remediation Program” which would include “sensitivity training” on homosexual issues, additional outside study of literature promoting homosexuality and demanded that she attend a “gay pride parade,“ and then report on it, according to WorldNetDaily.com. She was instructed to work with GLBTQ (gay-lesbian-bisexual-transsexual-queer) populations and for her to develop a knowledge of homosexuality by reading 10 articles and increase her exposure to homosexuals and lesbians.  Otherwise, they told her, she would be expelled from the program and there would be no credits for her studies. Even though her work was outstanding, it would now all be in vain.

This is not the first such case. Recent ones include Missouri State and Michigan State. TAKE NOTE that these universities and colleges of Amerika will not allow anyone to receive a degree unless they obey the government, follow the government agenda and denounce God and Christianity.  This is becoming more and more prevalent since Obama was illegally ushered into The Oval Office.

I taught a private college in San Francisco with a campus in Sacramento, teaching Russian immigrants English as a Second Language, along with life skills in order to successfully enter employment in America.  In San Francisco, all of my students had Ph.Ds had been successful and wealthy in Russia, but found life there so intolerable that they left literally with only the clothes on their back to come here to begin a new life. None of them believed in God, declared themselves atheists, which gave them privileged status in the Communist controlled Soviet Union.**

At the Sacramento campus, the students there had no degrees, worked only menial jobs.  These were Pentecostal Russians who refused to renounce their faith so were not allowed to even go to University. They were assigned work…cleaning the streets…washing windows…cleaning public toilets and when drafted into the Russian Military, they were immediately placed on the front lines.

They had been drawn to Sacramento after hearing broadcasts from a Russian Pentecostal Church there. Seeing that one could freely worship in America they came here by the thousands. The training they received from us at the college put them into good jobs and gave them a whole new life.

NOW PLEASE HEAR THIS!  Obama who is backed by the CPUSA, (Communist Party USA) has promised free education including University.  HOWEVER he stops there instead of explaining that the exact Soviet Marxist style is coming to America, unless we wake-up and demand his impeachment and remove him from the office he has illegally occupied. Yes, you will be able to go to college and University free…as long as you teach and counsel only what the Marxists instruct you to teach and counsel: Socialism, Communism, Atheism, Humanism, Sexual Perversion. Darwimism, Power to The State. What has happened in Georgia, Missouri and Michigan should give you a clue that Soviet Marxism is advancing in America and they intend to cover this country completely. unless…  Pay close attention.

Every single thing the Obama Administration offers to give us, comes with a “however.“  Don’t fall for it. This includes those pastors being approached to be on the White House Faith Based staff. Sadly, too many pastors, with the ambition to be famous and powerful have been willing to join Obama’s team. What it really means is that these mis-guided pastors will become a tool of the Marxist Obama Government with an assignment to temper down devoted and believing pastors and their congregations..They would be used to water down, then cut out the very core of Christianity, making it null and void.

Pastors….WAKE UP!  For God’s Sake!  Politically Correct pastors today seem to have lost their stirrups and perhaps never really knew what being a minister meant in the first place. Most of them. without doubt entered the ministry for the wrong reasons. The job description given to us by God, is not what the Obama Marxists are putting into place for preachers .  Please THINK about our vows to God, why we were called to ministry and what our role in the church and society should be.  One thing for sure, It is not about partnering with godless and brutal Communists.

An aside to Ms. Keeton who found herself under Communist rule and booted from Universtiy for refusing to denounce God.  Please consider applying to a Chrstian University. They have excellent professional academic programs including psychology and counseling courses. I am certain that they will give you credit for the courses you have already studied. at Georgia State. Who knows. Considering the events, you might even be given a generous scholarship. Stand firm, Ms. Keeton and may God Bless You.

  -  Penalties on individuals: If you are unable to show you have purchased a government-approved health policy, you will pay a yearly penalty of $695, or up to 2.5 percent of your annual income.
  -  Penalties on families: Similarly, if parents cannot show they have purchases a government-approved policy, their families will pay a yearly penalty of $347 per child, or up to 2.5 percent of your annual income.
  -  Penalties on employers: Business owners with more than 50 employees must buy government-approved health coverage or pay a yearly penalty of $2,000 per employee if at least one employee receives a tax credit. (Many employers will simply pay the penalty and stop offering health care to their employees to avoid the much greater costs the government-approved plan would impose.)

  The health tax madness goes on and on for 2,700 pages of “laws/regulations.

  All of this, plus Obama’s $18 trillion debt during his years as president, will bankrupt both taxpayers and what was once our governments at the local, regional, state and federal levels.

  ObamaCare is not about improving health care. It is about “Redistribution of Wealth,“ which we all should know by now is a Marxist communist dictatorship.

  Earlier Free Market Reforms in Health Care will be undermined.

  Emergency rooms will see a flood patients, since all of the more than 20 million illegal immigrants are learning that their health care begins when they walk into a hospital’s emergency room.

  I’m seriously thinking of moving to Costa Rica to get out of this once great land of the free and the brave before it ultimately will be destroyed by Obama’s Chicago communist thugs.
