• Posted in Socialism by Guest: Malcolm T. HedgesAll the good Comrades have decried that the USA will be Socialist “damn the torpedoes full speed ahead”...
They pushed and prodded in 2008 to get their “wonderful” Fascist/Socialist “ruler” Obama into office and now are crying fowl as the economy crumbles under the Fascist/Socialist agenda they demanded!
On this date in 1801, The District of Columbia was placed under the jurisdiction of Congress. So THAT’S why that city is so messed up…a recent headline in a London Newspaper (The Guardian) advised: “Americans Stocking Up For End Of World.“ (?) If the end of the world is really coming, what’s the point of stocking up things? And Atheists have offered to take care of family dogs when the Rapture occurs (we kid you not). However, the atheists are wrong on a lot of counts. Little dogs DO go to heaven which my coming book will prove. And then there is this…..
When I was fifteen, I was really smart. I read philosophers and was able to argue with them, in my own head of course. The reason I was so smart (not anymore I must confess) was that when in early childhood my grandfather recognized my desire for learning, he separated his five thousand book collection into two parts, and told me that the small part was for me to read, and the other one, where most of books without pictures went was not yet for me. He even locked the book shelves with those books that were not for me but kind of showed me where the key was.
After seven and a half hours of the Republicans trying to introduce some rationality into the discussion of Obamacare, the “reform” of Medicare that actually takes trillions out of the present system and adds millions of people into it, the ordinary American can be excused for being confused, frustrated, and angry.

Joe Sestak stuck to his story yesterday that the Obama administration offered him a “high-ranking” government post if he would not run against U.S. Sen. • Posted in Government by Guest: Kevin PriceRecently I had Cody Willard of the Fox Business Network on my program and we discussed the incredible expansion of the federal government for several years and the fact that the end is no where in sight. Willard attributes the problem to the “Republican” and “Democrat” financial machine that pays for an ever expansive government. In addition of leading to questionable priorities, expansive government can also lead to some very serious questions about conflict of interest. He points to the recent recall of automobiles on the behalf of several automobile companies.
The recent news stories that Obama intends to implement much of his health care agenda through executive orders shows just how broken the Constitution of the United States has become. The foundational document of American government provides no legislative power in the presidency - none, zero, nada. George Washington felt that even the presidential veto should be used only in opposition to congressional bills that were unconstitutional. Now, the notion that the president can, effectively, legislate without the involvement of Congress (in certain areas and for certain reasons) has become quietly accepted as part of our federal system.
